Day 4:

It’s interesting how when the mission is to write for 30 days straight there’s no real spark of inspiration. Maybe it’s cause I’m tired. Butttt having “no inspiration/motivation” is a great topic.

Days like this is why we don’t wait for motivation to find us, we go full force regardless. Motivation is fleeting and on the road to success we don’t have time for fleeting.

I get seasonal depression in the winter. There’s nothing less motivating than the cold, but things have to get done anyway. Knowing yourself helps you find ways to be effective. Boom I know I get seasonal depression, so I plan my days with less tasks in the winter. I’m focusing on 2-3 major things on a brisk December day vs the 6-7 I’ll “feel like” knocking out on a summer afternoon in June. I like challenges, so I’ll deadline myself on tasks. It’s a subjective thing so what works for me may not work for you. Maybe you’ll do one major thing or skip every other day doing major things. It’s all fine as long as you are getting what you need to get done. Don’t let lack of motivation/inspiration stop you from achieving your goals.

Song stuck in my head today:  I Am Who They Say I Am – NBA Youngboy, Kevin Gates, Quando Rondo
