👂 Why should I listen to you?

My name is Jackie. My mother had high blood pressure for 15 years, the doctors put her on different medications and they didn’t work. She would go to the doctor and her blood pressure would still be high – they switched her pills, they added more pills.

At the most, she was taking 4 prescribed pills from the doctor and when she would go to the doctor her pressure would still be 150s/80s. I adopted a plant-based diet in 2017 and began studying the effects of what we consume on our bodies.

Fast forward to December 2018, with my mom’s 50th birthday approaching she was finally ready for me to help her lower her blood pressure.

No, my mom isn’t vegan or even plant-based – she still eats meat, seafood, and cheese. So this book isn’t trying to change your eating habits. Nope, keep your eating habits, (but don’t eat cold cut sandwiches every day and email me telling me nothing in the book worked for you!! Please google how much sodium is in your favorite cold cuts from the deli.)

Some things should go from your diet, but that’s really up to you – my advice is to have it in moderation. If you have deli sandwiches 3 times a week, cut it down to once a week, then once every 2 weeks, and so on. But my favorite advice is to add more of the good stuff.

Fast forward to now July 2019 and my mom is making consistent blood pressure readings of 120s/70s and lower. The lowest thus far has been 105/59.

I know you’re probably saying – well damn Jackie that took months. Well, it shouldn’t take you months because I’m taking the research part out of it. I’ve done most of the research for you. (I say ‘most’ because you should always research further things you’ll be putting into your body).

I’ve included things that have worked for my clients. As well as things that can also work to lower blood pressure. Everyone is different, so what worked for Bob, might not work for you and that’s okay. There are different things to try.

✍️ Why do I want to lower my blood pressure naturally?

On meds from the doctor, one of my clients would experience muscle spasms and horrible menstruation pains – when she added just one of my suggested supplements the spasms stopped and her period hasn’t been painful sense.
